CLASS OF A DAY OF INTRODUCTION TO AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY: MODULE 1
The one-day INTRODUCTION TO AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY class we offer at DRONESVIP is a fun and intensive one-day class designed to provide as much information as possible to attendees who want to create attractive, high-quality and eventually marketable images. This is a one day class for enthusiastic DRONES operators who need to know more about their equipment, the DJI GO app and learn what we have to do to gain a new perspective of the world around us, to integrate DRONES technology into our place of work and share the incredible images that these teams generate. If you are an enthusiast or hobbyist and you are trying to understand, improve and feel that the DRONES became your passion, this class will show you in a single day what would normally take months of practice and permanent consultation to the famous YouTube videos. The content of this one-day class is intended for beginners or intermediate level who are interested in knowing their DRONE, the camera and mainly the DJI GO app. Even those who have very little contact with aerial photography will have the necessary basic tools that are needed to start using this equipment in a more detailed way. This one day class is NOT INTENDED FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS OR CAMAROGRAPHERS, it has an introductory character to the real world of aerial photography. Instructors enrolled with extensive experience in generating aerial images such as Hugo Santa Ana will share their experience and knowledge in a presentation that will further awaken your desire to make your imagination fly.
TEMARIO MODULO 1:
Technically, photography consists of permanently capturing an image, thanks to the light reflected by objects. In this unit we will see the basic concepts that include the correct capture of an image from your DRONE. We will review some very familiar basic terms in DRONES such as JPG, RAW, D-LOG, 4K, etc.
2: UNDERSTANDING THE DRONE AND ITS CAMERA
In this unit we will talk about the components of the camera and what they are for. You will understand the relationship that exists between diaphragm, speed, ISO sensitivity, white balance and how they relate to a DRONE. We will learn to set the camera correctly according to what we want to do.
3: PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPOSITION
Knowing how to compose a photograph is to have solved the most important part of a good shot. We will talk in detail about the elements that make up the design in an image, what they are and how we can use them to our advantage when composing a good aerial photograph. We will see the different types of shots and how to execute them correctly.
4: DJI GO APP, INTELLIGENT FLIGHT MODES, BUILT-IN EDITING TOOLS AND USEFUL APPS
This is the central part of this one day class, where we are going to base most of our time. In this unit you will know the functions that allow you to access and modify the shot from the application, as well as the shortcuts that you can have from the RC. And most importantly, you’re going to learn how to take advantage of automatic flight modes so you can focus solely on controlling the camera while the computer is running an automatic trajectory. We will see the different possibilities of setting of camera movements and the DRONE itself. The parameterization of our equipment is a fundamental part when obtaining cinematographic images.
5: FLIGHT PRACTICES
In this unit we will leave the classroom and using the knowledge acquired and the potential that the DRONES offer, we will execute fixed composition exercises and in movement to have as a result photographs and videos that the students will use at the end of the day.
We will combine different shots and techniques to achieve fluency and impact in what we wanted to show.
6: CONCLUSIONS AND CLOSURE
To finish, the instructors will make a brief edition of the photos and videos that the participants of the class have generated in the practices to present in the final project as the closing of this class. The idea is that all the participants of this one-day class return to their homes with the fundamental principles to begin using their DRONES with the necessary knowledge to achieve more defined, better balanced and fundamentally spectacular results when showing them to their audience.
